At Motus, we are committed to keeping your equipment running. We aim to make the ordering process as efficient and transparent as possible for our commercial and industrial clients. Below you will find everything you need to know about placing orders, payments, and delivery.

How to Place an Order

  • Online: You can browse our full catalog of escalator components directly on this website. Simply add items to your quote or cart and proceed to checkout.

  • Email Orders: For bulk orders, specific technical inquiries, or items not listed online, please email our sales team at sales@motusltd.co.uk. Including part numbers, photos, or technical drawings will help us process your request faster.

  • Phone Support: Need urgent assistance? Call our technical sales team at 01535 279882 (Mon–Fri, 08:30 – 17:00). We can provide immediate stock checks and technical advice.


Payment Options

We offer flexible payment methods to suit your business requirements:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: We accept all major cards including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express via our secure payment gateway.

  • Bank Transfer (BACS): For larger orders, you can pay via direct bank transfer. Bank details will be provided on your Pro-forma invoice.

  • Trade Accounts: We offer 30-day credit terms for regular commercial partners (subject to application and credit approval). Please contact accounts to set this up.


Shipping & Delivery

We know that in this industry, downtime costs money. We prioritize speed and reliability.

  • Same-Day Dispatch: Orders for in-stock items placed before  2:00 PM are dispatched the same working day.

  • UK Delivery: We typically use DHL for Next Working Day delivery to most UK mainland addresses.

  • International Shipping: Motus ships globally. International rates are calculated based on weight and destination. If you have your own freight account, please let us know.

  • Collection: Urgent orders can be collected from our warehouse in Cross Hills or Dartford. Please ensure you have received a "Ready for Collection" confirmation before travelling.


Returns Policy

  • Standard Returns: Unused, non-custom items in their original packaging may be returned within 14 days of receipt. Please contact us for a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) before sending goods back.

  • Custom Orders: Please note that items cut to specific lengths (such as handrails) or made-to-order components are non-refundable unless faulty.

  • Restocking Fee: Returns of non-faulty goods may be subject to a restocking fee to cover handling and administration.
